The primary goal of this project was to maintain the traditional feel of the home while opening it up to let more light in. To do this, we moved the walls and added structural support to allow us to relocate the fireplace and add the stone surround. Now, the space lets in more light, feels larger and separates the living room. On one side of the fireplace - a sitting room, perfect for conversation and on the other, an entertainment space with a TV.
